How to End Corruption, Greed and Abuse: Stop Using Tax Payer Dollars for Animal Cruelty
Contact your representative and demand the end to funding mad scientists who torture animals
Did you know that OUR tax payer dollars are being used for animal cruelty? You can help by contacting your representatives and demand that the buck stops with YOU!
“Stop tax payers from being forced to pay for cruel, wasteful, inefficient and dangerous animal experiments in labs around the world. Since 1998, a half a trillion dollars have been spent on unethical, useless animal testing. Dr. Fauci was responsible.” -Justin Goodman, White Coat Waste.
On February 6, 2025, a Subcommittee Hearing meeting was held (video begins at minute: 21:51). This is a non-partisan issue and a bi-partisan bill has been introduced.
Here is a brief summary of the important meeting that exposed Colleges’ and Universities’ slush funds that supported sick, deadly, and invasive surgeries and testing on animals:
“Social trends are used for money grabs. People who abuse animals keep changing research to chase funding.” said Justin Goodman.
Chairwoman Mace said, “some people consider that money laundering.”
The U.S. government outspends the private sector in animal testing by 2:1, in an excess of 20 billion dollars annually is wasted on ineffective animal testing.
2.5 million to study the fertility of transgender mice.
1.1 million to see if female rats receiving testosterone therapy were more likely to overdose on a date rape drug than animals not taking the drug to study “chemsex”.
Millions of dollars to import bats from China to fund a study of deadly viruses at a bat lab in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Forcibly transition male monkeys and forced them to take a drug. Monkeys cannot be infected with aids because they are naturally immune.
Force fed and continually poison beagle puppies until they die. This has no relevance for safety and efficacy for humans.
Millions of surgical mutilations of animals annually for decades.
95% animal testing is not relevant for humans.
At least 240 million dollars were used for transgender animal testing (mice, rats, monkeys- “the estimate is the floor, not the ceiling of the amount spent”).
The Department of Justice (DOJ) used our money to blow up live animals.
In Tunisia, mad “scientists” were paid to see how insects could eat dogs alive while they are contained in a tiny cage with no room to move .
In 2018, a USDA lab in Maryland was paid 22 million dollars for a kitten lab that bred kittens. They fed kittens dog and cat meat from China to see if they would be exposed to a parasite. Our tax payer dollars were used for kitten cannibal research.
10 million dollars for DARPA to torture kittens.
100’s of FOIA’s requested annually just to get basic information and were unable to find out what is happening to the animals.
There are currently animal labs in Russia and China and other countries and no oversight.
Wuhan lab, Ecohealth Alliance, and NIH gain of function research received US tax payer dollars.
See for yourself on usaspending.gov; and, nih.gov (search transgender and animal).
Millions of animals are used world-wide, and that there are technologies to save animals from suffering that lead to more relevant results. Federal agencies need to support and lead the way in new methodologies and implement them. We must lead in alternative methods that protect the environment, and we will strengthen jobs, health and well-being and our economic growth.
There are viable alternatives that are more ethical, accurate and efficient ways to study disease, treatments. We can test cosmetics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals in a highly realistic way without animals.
“It is our moral responsibility to advocate for animals who cannot speak for themselves.” - Ranking member, Ms. Brown
Justin Goodman, Sr. VP of Advocacy and Public Policy, White Coat Waste (WCW), testified and confirmed that there is “no transparency” in agencies - they do not track or report spending, what is being done to animals, how many animals, where and what tax payers are getting out of it. WCW has exposed more than 10 million dollars of tax payer dollar waste. The U.S. outspends the world 2:1, and people are not healthier or better for it. Over 20 years ago, the NIH budget doubled and animal testing skyrocketed. He noted that Dr. Doobie is infamous for animal testing. NIH said, “animal models fail to mimic disease or predict how drugs will work in humans resulting in much wasted time and money. Yet, they continue to dump billions of dolllars of tax payer money annually in spite of the horrible return on investment. Animal testing results from a lack of ethics, transparency, accountability, innovation and imagination.”
Dr. Rand Paul’s 2024 Festivus Report, exposed why Federal agencies have fought against disclosing details in hundreds of FOIA requests.
In 2019, there was a plan to end animal testing by 2035. When the new administration got into office in 2021, they nixed the plan. “Environmentalists” argued that more animal testing was needed. Thankfully, another bill has been introduced to lessen animal testing by 30% in 2025, and totally end it by 2035.
Federal bureaucracy can take years to change. We can demand that animal testing change now.
Contact your representatives and demand change- call for compassion and empathy:
The Animal Welfare Act needs to define animals as sentient beings- they currently do not recognize animals as living beings with feelings and needs. We have been following a corrupt and sick system.
Contact your Representatives and to demand that greed, abuse and cruelty are ended for good. We the People change our world for the better now.
Question everything. Think critically and independently. Follow the money.
Subcommittee Hearing to stop animal testing
Cheers for the wild in all of us…

About Robin
Wildlands is a call for creative revolution to restore health, well-being, and sovereignty for all beings. I helped end wildlife killing contests in Arizona, the 4th State to do so. I’ve led campaigns to protect rivers, habitats, animals and people, including getting a diesel tram out of a State Park, and getting the first female appointed as an Arizona Game and Fish Commissioner since their inception in 1881. I’ve been asked to run for office more than once and have been writing, advocating and presenting the principles in Wildlands for many years. I’ve created classes, presentations, and my work has been published in several media outlets. I teach “we are nature, food is medicine and nature is medicine” work to help shift paradigms and reduce harm. I’ll be co-hosting a retreat in October 2025.
I share simple, healthy recipes and live on the road, planting food and pollinator gardens in parks and schools to motivate businesses, politicians and communities to work together to reduce harm. And, 300 children (K-12) and I created wildlife art in a garden at the largest conservation-restoration organizations in the world.
I need your help to create more life-changing opportunities. If you found this essay helpful and informative, please share with others to help Wildlands grow and upgrade to paid.

Imagine if our tax money was returned to us for all these horrific animal experiments that we didn’t want and never agreed to fund. Your voice matters.
Thank you to
and for translating two Wildlands essays.
Thank you sharing widely to end cruelty to animals and tax payer dollar waste. Your voice matters!
Oh dear. There's so much that we don't know about what they are doing behind the closed doors with all those fundings
