The Gift of Presence is Restorative
The quiet of winter solstice offers a time to heal relationships and celebrate connection
Hello, Welcome to Wildlands, I AM glad you are here!
May the quiet season bring peace and calming and may the New Year bring wellness, prosperity and connection for you.
Our presence in troubling times has the potential to awaken our gifts— and our blessings may be wrapped in trauma.
Utilize the quiet time of winter and heal relationships. Give yourself the gift of forgiveness and let go. Gratitude increases trust, helps us celebrate our blessings and helps us with new beginnings.
Trust Something Greater and believe that challenges can be profound ways of healing that open a powerful potential for happiness and healing.
You are a miracle- your essence is filled with light, love and laughter.
Exemplify Oneness and be the present, be a gift and be of service. I AM One with Life.
May we honor all our relations: family, flora, fauna, food, farming and freedom and celebrate peace and prosperity for animals, people and their habitats.
Gratitude for Nature: Spices
Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Ginger have antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic and digestive properties. These “warm spices” help increases blood circulation, including to the brain, heart and gut. And, they help reduce pain and help maintain oral and skin health.
Cinnamon may also help reduce allergy symptoms and stabilize blood sugar.
Nutmeg may help better sleep, support kidneys, detoxification and boost mood.
Ginger can help nausea, weight loss, arthritis, menstrual cramps and more.
Enjoy some cinnamon tea after a holiday meal to support health and wellness.
Celebrate connection, life’s miracles: Tales and tails to inspire and uplift you
While doing a remote Healing Touch for Animals session to help a cat named Sally, a message appeared: replace current litter with natural litter. Sally has a growth inside her nose and natural litter will help her. Many litter products contain chemicals, perfumes and dust- all are irritants that may cause health issues. Bach’s Rescue Remedy is homeopathic and safe for animals and people. It helps to reduce stress and anxiety. I’ll update you with how Sally is doing in upcoming essays.
While taking a walk, I rescued a dog named Ringo and reunited him with his family! And, on another walk, I found $20!
Get outside, it increases health, well-being, connection, peace and prosperity— and it may even help others.

Over the river and through the woods and to the desert. I travel with two small suitcases and live in three ecosystems. I am a nature nomad who works with Cities and Counties to help to create parks and gardens, while supporting wildlife and habitats. My work also supports small farms and a shop local ethic.
Robin means “new beginnings”. My job is to help you re-design yourself, your life, your land, home and healthcare. Wildlands covers a lot of ground and digs deep to help “shine a light” on corruption and helps transform it for good.
Healthy people create a world of well-being.
Please help Wildlands increase health, well-being and connection. A paid subscription supports advocacy projects that help restore soils and souls. Together, we can regenerate nations and help make Anima Mundi great again!!
Some current projects include the following:
Two pollinator and food gardens projects in community parks in Tucson, Arizona.
I’m working with City and State leaders to increase locally grown produce and support small farms in Southern Arizona, SW Ohio, and NE Oklahoma.
Support wildlands and wildlife - I help care for wildlife that are too injured to return to the wild, and work with local and State leaders to conserve and protect habitats and species.
My work also helps to shine a light on the corruption of animal organizations.
My art will be in several art shows and an auction in 2025.
Did you know…
The U.S. is losing 2,000 acres of farmland per day! (Featured in Wildlands and in my guest column). Let’s heed an ancient tale re-told in, "How Much Land Does a Man Need?" by Tolstoy, who was also a vegetarian.
The gift of presence is restorative- it helps heal relationships with self and others. Celebrate connection with life. Reflect during this time of mass consumerism to give thanks for all who have sacrificed for us to help restore relationships with our families, flora, fauna, food, farming and freedom.
Happy holidays and Happy trails- I’m heading out on the road at the end of the week! Wildlands is growing steadily, thanks to you!
