Humanity has created so much through technological and industrial efforts that our systems have forgotten simple, basic wisdom.
I am grateful that a new dawn, a new day and holistic ways are blooming and growing for the greater good!
I appreciate you, your comments, and most importantly, your kindness. Peace and prosperity happens when we are collaborative, compassionate and empathetic.
Friends of winged ones know the importance of this essay. Thank you for restacking this essential work for birds. Avian Research and Education Institute's mission is to keep common birds common. And they collaborate locally, nationally to internationally to learn, grow and conserve birds and their habitats.
AREI helps our society understand the level of toxins in our farms, which is affecting birds, nature and all of our health and well-being. Not only are birds unable to produce offspring, but humans and animals are struggling. Glyphosate and neonics don't have to be in our food system. Biologists are finding that environmental toxins are in our water, air, soil and food, and are affecting fertility, food allergies and neurological disorders.
We are being slowly poisoned with GMO's and toxins- is anyone warning you and helping you make decisions that will protect you? Our government and industrial complex are betraying us.

Thank you to Dr. David Russell, Dr. Jill Russell, Matt, Kaley and Drew for their work and interview!
Please join me today, May 28, 2025, noon-1:30 pm EDT, for “The Calm Project”, to calm, connect, collaborate and create”. Details in Wildlands. I didn't advertise this online gathering very much. Come as you are and let's create health, well-being and connection together!
My favorite bird in the article is owlette and my favorite bird today is the turkey. There can be a favorite bird for every week of the year. Thank you Robin!
I love that, Kim, and am with you on a favorite being "all of them". And a BIG cheer for Owlettes and Turkeys! Keep sharing yourself in Wildlands, Sister, I am grateful for you!
Love your play on words, Robin! A very informative read about the preservation of our Avian friends and the impact environmental toxins have on them. 🦅🦉
Thank you, Leanda, I appreciate your comment. Word play is fun, and as a poet with a purpose, it's how I roll... ; )
So much environmental toxins, enough already, right!?! The U.S. had ad campaigns years ago that said, "Give a hoot, don't pollute." The EPA was formed in the 1970's. The complex has been exempted for their crimes against humanity. It's time to change that for all of our sake and take "greater good" seriously. I'm helping to hold them accountable. Stay tuned for more good, beauty and what's true. I'm grateful for you. 🦅🦉

I love all birdlife… to me they are a source of much joy and happiness in the songs they sing… especially the kookaburra 🥰
I hear and see you, Leandra. Indeed, birdlife. I would love to experience the wild kookaburra. Thank you for sharing yourself. 🥰
I will endeavour to share with you the Kookburra's 'laugh' Robin... I find it so uplifting and full of joy.
Leanda, that's a must experience in person-- and Thank you, that would be a dream come true! 🌹🌻🦘🦉🕊🐣💜
Leanda, By the way, we used to sing the kookabura song in elementary school all the time!
And have you seen my story about the Black Robins in Wildlands?
