Hi, All: I will be including audio with my essays as soon as tech issues are overcome. Thank you for all your support of Wildlands! I am grateful for you!! XX

I can tell you "what if". Did generalize, 99.5% of us would lead our best lives. I've been lucky enough to be in that very position for a tech over 15 years. Self-sufficient in electricity, producing over half of the energy required to run my farm machinery. Contributing to and consuming from a local food co-op. The commitment to such a lifestyle necessarily forces community upon ones nearby who are doing the same. If both questions and answers are completely above board and open source, it's a wonderful thing!

Hudson, you are right, and thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate your perspective and this is the mission of Wildlands, too: When we make choices that support our calling and our community, we all are taken care of in a way that reduces hunger and waste…and so many other issues like tyranny and isolation/ loneliness.

There is sad caveat in the hinterlands of America. A seriously heavy lift to create community when you've never experienced it. The same with wilderness. It's something not revered or protected when you've never seen it or been in it. Such a rare occurrence.

You are so right, Hudson. It is a dumb down that Wildlands attempts to raise up intelligence and intuition! Huge job. Either build an ark to sail onward, or go down with the ship! No thanks to the latter.

I don't see it as a dumb down even though that is definitely part of the dynamic. The main problem is, the existence of true wilderness is so scarce, most of us don't have the means to get there. To walk amongst ferns arching over your head, to be stupefied at trees with the Lewis branch being 40 feet up, picking huckleberries with grizzly bears at the other end of the patch, watching a female osprey take nine trips and bring back nine fish....

Dumb has many facets. When one is dumb to nature, they really miss a lot of learning, like in the examples you shared. I learn a lot from the wildlife I work with, and/ or observe. I agree with you, true wilderness is scarce and most will never experience it. Tragic that such natural majesty be forsaken, unknown and forgotten!

For all who may be reading this: Wildlands teaches inner growth so that it might awaken one’s calling to help protect, conserve and restore nature (which may help restore self). For some, the mere act of planting a garden or trees in one’s yard may lead to inner growth- at least, I must express this intention and dream, open pathways and portals of the mind and heart…

I keep going back to the 20th and 21st century dynamic of most children don't see the night sky!

I can't imagine not being able to gaze at the stars. Experience the awe and wonder. See with your own eyes the incomprehensible vastness of the universe. To experience the inspiration of other stars other galaxies other worlds.

Yes indeed. My bad. Wrong context on my part.

Your narrative is by far the best description. I beg your pardon. Thank you for clarification. Occasionally, I flex my world class miss communication skills. 😉

Robin, the visual of the missionary and that little child’s hand was heartbreaking. Thank you for all your good work and bringing so much to our attention. X

Dwina, thank you both for your time and for your empathetic, compassionate reply! Beacons of bright fame beam wisdom. Same sentiments back to you of all your good work!

How do I grow a bigger audience so that more know these things?! I need a microphone, a loud speaker! I am Loud Hawk, which means "One Who Gets Things Done", a name given to me by a Toltec Shaman. Now I need to embody it and I am having audio issues that I am yet to fix and look at it as my own healing! My "new beginnings" on all levels! Courage and compassion! Alchemy from Loud Hawk to Loud Roar, from my Celtic ancestry. Good things are happening. I feel a transformation within myself and my world. I am blessed, and look forward to receiving your cards soon! I asked the Universe for guidance, and preferably, Vedic. Soon after, your work presents itself. Amazing, magical, really. Again, your support means so much to me! A mutual gratitude with you is a blessing beyond words. XX

Thank you, @David Robert Farmerie, I appreciate your powerful supportive testimonial! Wildlands mission is to create better humans and a better world and recently reached a milestone for growth! It is people like you who recognize the importance and the quality that are helping my work grow. Algorithms support a lot of noise and “entertainment”. It is time we exercise our will and our mind for peace and prosperity!

Feels like a lot in one post. I enjoyed learning the reduction of food waste program was established but do you know if it went in effect?

Zen, yes, it is packed with information, true. And, it is an urgent message. Allegedly, it is in effect. However, It is up to municipalities to invest, as the Feds can only do so much. They are distracted by so many issues and they follow the money and public outcry. Thanks for reading and supporting Wildlands!! I am grateful for you!! If there is a topic you are interested in me exploring, let me know, too!
