You’re so welcome. Thrilled to do so! Anyone that can provide me an escape for 10 minutes or 10 hours an extra fine writer. I have a very high suspicion of belief threshold.
That's the best compliment, Hudson! Mucho gracias! On a mission to restore soils and souls! Please share Wildlands with those you feel would appreciate and benefit from it! Word of mouth beats algorithms!! XX
Full disclosure, I’m just an Umpire . I called ‘em as I see ‘em.
My words are exactly what I mean. Nothing else nothing more. I understand that dynamic so well. I’ve been blessed enough to pursue my passion and make a comfortable living at it for a long time.
Left-field sidenote…..that’s exactly the mechanism that makes a Finland public education the best in the world. 4- 8 hour days a week. Crushing even the 6 dsy, 10 hour Asian model. How?
The school mandated curriculum is only in the mornings, but in the afternoon the students choose the subjects. Junior, and senior years they get to actually go do it.
Is it a revelation that people are good at what they enjoy?
Pardon my cynicism. I’m such a delight in my dotage. 🙈
Thank you, Nature, you express a beautiful truth of our be-ing and for all be-ings in our world! Welcome to Wildlands, beautiful Soul, called Nature! I am grateful for your comments! You are welcome anytime and All-ways!
Thank you, Hudson! I truly appreciate you! Wildlands reached a milestone today with growth!! Cheers to more regenerative, organic, native pollinator, healing and food gardens for wildlife and for children with physical, emotional and mental challenges.
Wonderful post; way back when I was studying science and engineering, I was fascinated by patterns, symmetey, but it was from a mathematical scientific view. Solving equations, solving problems. Much later, as my mind expanded, along with my interests, I began to notice that in Nature, such patterns exist. Everywhere This is beauty and brings so much joy.
I also want to echo the point that we are Nature. There is no good reason to hurt or be cruel to any animal. Just this morning, as I was feeding the birds and squirrels their nuts and seeds, a skunk came out of the bushes. It was shortly after sunrise. I stood there and watched him; as he was watching me. He ate some seeds right in front of me, a few feet away. This is the closest that I ever got to a skunk. He had a kind and gentle face.
Awwww, thank you, Perry, confirming you resonate with the message of this essay means a lot and I appreciate your comment. I had engineering project in design school and it was fascinating to balance objects. Otherwise, arts and story-telling for me.
Aho with the animal sentiment, too. That sounds magical with the critters! Talk about wildlife with me anytime!! I want to hear more.
Skunks are very sweet, gentle animals. A colleague rescues them. They are cute. So cool!
I was with wildlife today- Golden Eagle, Barn owls, Bard owls, Kestrel, reptiles and mammals at a Nature Center in a forest, then on a lake kayaking viewing lots of wildlife and forest. The captive wildlife are injured and can't be released. They have permanent injuries from fishing lines left behind. One Red Tail hawk is named Toby. His toes were amputated due to the fishing lines left in the waters. Turtles have been rescued, too. And, others...
And, I see Wildlands essays and data sources have inspired many of your essays. Good luck and all the best with your hiatus from your newsletter and enjoy your time with nature.
Thanks for restacking my essay, Hudson, I appreciate your support!

Or I’m just a grumpy old cynic in my dotage.
Not sure. 😉🫵💪👏👏👏
"Extra fine writer" at your service, with a mission to smart-up the dumb-downs! Cheers!
Sharing from Amy E. who sent this comment, "Beautiful message, merci, dear Robin."
Romanesco is the coolest Fibonacci sequence ever!!! 🤣
Thanks for restacking my essay, Hudson! I appreciate your support!
My pleasure. It’s awesome.
Thank you very much! It was fun to write it, too!
I’ll bet. No wonder you are so eloquent and plainly put, a darn fine writer. You’re doing what you enjoy.
Good for you!

All the things in nature are together in one place.
Each thing is moved by Nature’s pattern.
Signals give direction. 🔄
The whole divides in to parts. 🧬
The parts move around and round and in and out of each other.
Like water flowing in rivers 💦 and oceans 🌊 and changing into vapor 💨 and snow ⛄️❄️and ice 🧊.
The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.
Every part is circulating, round and round. 💫 🪐 ⛈️ 🌪️
Things unFold 🌱 then enFold 🍂 .
Everything in the UNIverse fits 🧩
because each part BELONGS
to the ONE whole cyclic cosmic song 🎻 and dance 💃🏻.

I love looking at mandalas !!
Meee, tooo, Mike! Thanks for sharing that! I will think of you the next time I see mandalas. All blessings to you!
I was outdoors all day today, with wildlife, a lake and a forest. Bliss.
Very nice.
Thanks, Robin, for the mention! It's been great hosting this lovely article on Mentatrix!
