Oh these photos are fantastic. Thank you for sharing all of this. I was squeeing all over it as I toured with you.what wonderful work you are accomplishing!
I’ve had the privilege of spending countless unforgettable days exploring Kruger National Park, Hwange, and Victoria Falls during my time living in Zimbabwe and South Africa, experiences that have only deepened my passion for conservation.
That’s amazing, Dr. Mike, you are blessed to have spent time in such an ancient, biodiverse area. Indeed, it is understandable that it would deepen one’s conservation ethic. I share a love of conservation and have devoted much work towards it. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thanks for another wonderful article. Thanks for underscoring the need to promote the antipoaching organizations. The killing of wildlife in order to confiscate their appendages is unfortunately way too prevalent, so your work bringing attention to this is doubly important. Having traveled through Zimbabwe years ago and having witnessed elephant, cape buffalo, and other wildlife, in their habitats was an experience I won't forget and I hope that will be preserved for the sake of those beings and all generations to come.
Thank you, Shawn, for your supportive, well-stated comment. I am grateful you have experienced the wild as it helps one understand their plight and their majesty.
Emotions for the Rhinos is wonderful, thank you. Rhinos are gentle giants with immense intelligence. And I appreciate your support, Leanda.
Indeed, injustice and inhumane treatment of animals is the blight of humanity. When societies evolve and understand interconnection, they will greatly reduce harm of innocent ones.
I spend a lot of time listening to nature and her beings. All my life I have been called to speak for animals world-wide. May it help change perceptions, behaviors, and inspire others to engage their voice and actions for empathy and compassion. We can do hard things. I believe in humanity.
Thank you for restacking a Wildlands essay and for making my day, @Kamilah.
