My favourite way of enjoying Nature is my 2-3 hikes here in Ottawa. The peace and quiet and encounters with wildlife are experiences I will never forget.

Oh no, RIP, turtles! Perhaps there are some bacteria in the pond that is harming them. May the turtles get the care they need so that they may thrive. Thank you for your care and stewardship, Amy!

In the recent past, I reported SUNDT developers to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works for their extensive illegal careless dumping and trashing of the desert, levee, washes and drainages along the La Posada development site in Oro Valley, Arizona. SUNDT CONTINUES TO SEVERELY TRASH THE DESERT AND WASHES ALONG THE CONTIGUOUS SILVERHAWKE CONSERVATION ZONE where native Sonoran Desert Tortoises and other wildlife struggle to survive surrounded by unsustainable development. We cleaned up dozens of pounds of their trash, plastic bags in trees and shrubs, styrofoam, boxes, etc. this week! Oro Valley Government is supposed to be monitoring their work however SUNDT developers still continue to significantly impact the desert ecosystem. They poured their plaster into a wash and this is a violation. We have images.
I asked Oro Valley Government to please oversee their work. I contacted the police and filed a report. If we littered this way we would be fined however corporations get away with this because we do not have a progressive local government who cares enough to take action effectively. Their extensive plastics that are all over the desert, trees and shrubs break down into micro-plastics that can kill or sicken tortoises if ingested. Plastics impede the growth of plants. Please have SUNDT at the La Posada construction site on Naranja clean up their work. We have images.

Thank you for all your great stewardship, Amy! I know it has been hard work and frustrating working with carelessness!
