I will cover the event in the next Wildlands, and will include a new feature that will change lives. It’s fun and simple, anyone can do it.

I really like that quote from Angela Davis: "I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept." Such a great point.

Re: conservation and large carnivores, one issue that is steadily growing here in Ontario is the "return" and sightings of the Cougar/Mountain Lion. Sightings have been on and off for the past few decades with the Onairo Ministry of Natural Resources having to finally admit there are Mountain Lions in the province.

Considering the size of Ontario, I honestly think they never left and were driven and hunted out of the areas near towns and cities. I do hope that the Mountain Lion is properly acknowledged as a resident of the province and not something simply "migratory" and "passing through."

Thanks, Neil, and I'm cheering the mountain lion and all species on for their rights to be. May they be recognized in every province! Keep us posted. Happy to share the information in Wildlands. Would you like to be a guest writer?
